WTF am I reading right now?

Okay, so here’s the skinny. I’m a university student studying Journalism and I thought the best way to practice communicating my thoughts would be through a blog. Now that that pretentious nonsense is out of the way, what’s this blog about?

When I was a kid I used to love anime – Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon were the main ones, but I never really differentiated them from the other cartoons I watched, being a 90s kid and more concerned with my next Cheestring than animation techniques.

Nowadays, I love animation and I’m trying to get the zany OTT world of anime back into my head, via the easiest way I know how that isn’t blunt force trauma to the skull with the DVD case.

So be prepared for bizarre shows from the east (or west, or wherever Japan is relative to where you live) and whatever else pops into my head!
